Fashion DIY Project: Painting My Sneakers! (click title to read more)
BTW.. I love art. In many forms. I love painting, I
love music, I love photography, I love nature (such an artsy masterpiece, that one is).. I love colors, and I love fashion and all the fashion-styling related things. So yes, my hobby is to make art!
A few months
ago I had the chance to visit Bali. Didn’t really plan to bring sneakers until
one day we had sudden plan to do outdoor sport. Last minute decision, I had no choice but to
buy a pair of replica sneakers from the nearest street shop.
When I bought these sneakers, I
realized that I was going to play with mud a lot that day. Some might think
that I was silly to buy a pair of white sneakers cuz it will definitely ruined (and I
did agree at some point once I saw how badly it was covered with mud afterwards). But I like
white sneakers, so at the end I decided to make a DIY out of it in order to
save the ruined shoes.

After I painted it, with its original shoelaces. |

Before Painted. Mud stain can still be seen after washed. |

Bought another pair of shoelaces for variation. |
I used acrylic paint from Sakura (you can buy it here for Indonesian website) and Reeves for this project. It’s pretty cute, I hope?
